Glad this thread is finally getting serious.
I still think that the OP is a tool

I get rather annoyed/insulted when non-lifters ask me if I’ve ever juiced.
I’ve worked my ass off to build the physique I have.
I’ve squatted until the room started spinning, I’ve stuffed my face with pounds of chicken on a daily basis, and I’ve given up many nights out at the bars to get my work out in. For years.
The problem is that the general public believes that steroids are magical drugs that turn average guys into brick houses with no work. People believe that if a guy has an impressive physique, he only got that way from juicing (which could not be farther from the truth).
It really bothers me because these assumptions and beliefs completely undermine all the hard work, dedication, sacrifice and suffering I’ve put into building my physique.
Average people are extremely judgmental about an individual’s character and integrity when it comes to steroid use, and the label carries an extremely negative connotation in American society. I don’t want to be labeled as taboo and judged for something I never did.
So yeah, it bothers me when an acquaintance or a random guy at a bar asks me if I use gear. Fuckin haters.

I honestly can’t wait until the day another serious lifter asks me with a striaght face “Do you juice?”. Then that’ll probably mean I’m actually am carrying some damn good size for my frame:D.[/quote]
Serious lifters are another story, since they have background knowledge and a fundamental understanding of how much effort it really takes to build a decent amount of muscle.
Legitimate gym rats can usually tell which guys use gear without even having to ask:)
I’ve never used steroids. I don’t have negative opinions about educated steroid use and don’t think less of someone who has chosen to use. I respect their commitment and drive. I’m enjoying learning about steroids (the science is fascinating) and one day may turn to the dark side…but not yet
