Mate…firstly I wouldn’t think of ‘spamming’ anyone or using any other processed meat on them for that matter.
The reason I posed the question was because I’d recieved a number of PM’s from Irish T-Nation readers and I was just wondering why they didn’t indicate they were from Ireland under their screen name…unlike Australia, Canada or the US most of Ireland’s population is within an hour of Dublin so it would be quite easy for us to get together if we so desired.

As Madman says, just announce it. I am quite sure the mods and admins at T-Nation would majorly disapprove of you spamming members based on their location or any other criteria. The point being… you’d be breaking a forum rule, I am sure, by contacting people directly to try to market any product or service. So, knowing where the members are located, wouldn’t help you anyhow.
Hence, another reason why members choose to hide, I’d think.

I might just do that…but it’s unlikely. My query wasn’t based on rustling up some business though…I was asked some questions in a couple of PM’s regarding getting some help and if I knew they were ‘locals’ I could just say come on down to…and I’d be happy to help.
All this talk of meats is making me hungry…never fear there’ll be no spamming from here.
I will start a thread in the New Year to see who here is from Ireland and to see who’d like to get together at some stage to talk tactics.

This does bring up a good point about targeting. I and a bunch of others were spammed via p.m. by a guy selling gear. The mods did intervene with a reprimand.
Will, you could just start a thread asking who’s from Ireland and initiate communication with that. There have been tons of those throughout the years. Thats how the different regional T-cells start. Then the respondents would be voluntary and receptive to communication.

I make know claim to being an early riser anymore after hearing about M.R getting up at 4am or something insane like that to take clients at 5ish. That’s committment from trainer and trianee.

There are 3 gyms in various states of development at the moment. 2 of those are for clubs…1 GAA and another for a Rugby club. I also have plans for my own facility in the pipeline but that is a good few months down the track. All will be in County Dublin. The 2 club gyms will be up and running sometime in the new year. My own may not come into fruition as it is still in the planning stage.
