That’s the difference of the often confused fair and even.
People think its fair to make things even. It isn’t. Its perfectly fair for someone that comes from wealth to experience the life that affluence can offer.
In communism they push for even, which can be extremely unfair.

It’s also not unfair for someone to privilege whoever one pleases to, related or not, on rational or irrational reasons. It’s that person’s wisdom, information, money, property, ingenuity, etc. (once again, it is not all about money!), his or her possessions to part with.
Well, if you’re my sister-in-law, you post on social media from your million dollar home in West Roxbury, making sure to declare that your privilege is checked. You know, to make a real difference.
Maybe a week or two ago she posted an article that explained what white parents should do, written by a black woman who starts off with the assumption that everything she’s unhappy about with her child’s experience at school is because of racism.
The solution? Prioritize your decision-making around skin color. Obviously. That’s called being an “ally”, and it’s a great way for upper-middle class white liberals to feel good about themselves without, you know, giving anything up or actually going to the neighborhoods where black people live.
Other ways you can make a difference is by posting on social media that you’re interested in events that signal your virtue. You don’t need to actually go to them, that might cut into your vacation time. The key is to raise awareness and share your opinions with the world. Everyone knows thats the best way for upper-middle class white liberals to help black people.
Oh, you can also shame your relatives who don’t vote for your feel-good liberal candidate.

Very true. My brothers and I were the beneficiaries of a man that my grandparents were friends with.
Another guy I knew that was truly wealthy donated everything (posthumously) to a hospital.
Its all good in my book.

Do you have any links or just names of good sources where I can read more about this? There are probably a lot of exaggerations from the right and I don’t want to have to filter through all that.
Btw, even upper-middle class kids where I live now go through that communist/socialist phase. Shit, even my youngest brother went through that phase a couple of years ago but mandatory military service right before university usually brings them out of it.
It reminds me of vegans. We eat meat and start developing new brain sections for millions of years. Then all of a sudden someone gets the bright idea to quit doing what got them there. Then a bunch of other dumbasses agree with it and start thinking that this is what EVERYONE should do.

Where is equality of outcome being taught/encouraged? From my POV, the majority of (sane) SJW rhetoric and arguments are aimed at equality of opportunity, which is fairly objectively a good thing.
