I am doing Ian King's jumping program and am currently on stage two. I am having problems with In-depth Jumps, however. The illustration does not seem to show a second box, nor are directions explicit. Should I be performing them from side to side, as the picture would lead me to believe, or forward and backward (with a turn?)? Should I jump back down from the high box, or step off it too? Also, my gym sucks and I am having diffuclty finding jumping platforms (best I can do are chairs and wooden boxes, both of which are tricky with big feet), any suggestions here?
