Can we get a picture of the rack set up?

Just a word about adjusting to squat shoes. I had some soreness just below both my kneecaps for a couple of weeks when I first switched over. I wondered if I need to wrap my knees, but my coach just told me to give it time to adjust to my shoes. Sure enough, the soreness went away. You may not have an issue at all.

It’s still not where I want it, but it’s a start.

Thank you. So far my knees have been fine. The hip is even okay today. My hammies are a little tight. That usually happens when I pull conv not so much on squats. Hopefully that means they are actually “working” for a change. If I can get everything working together I might be able to lift something heavy

thats a better rack than the one in the gym I go to ! enjoy

Weight porn for sure.

A friend of mine’s 32 year old son just got a rack exactly like that for his garage gym. I’m planning to help assemble it tomorrow since I nudged him into getting one. I’d liked to have had one of those in my barn gym when I was in my 30s. My present gym needs one of those.

Thanks OlderG.

Oh happy day for him! The assembly was easy enough. Sorting the bolts out and figuring out which upright went where took the longest. Took me less than an hour, probably take a couple guys, 20 minutes…lol
The price was right and I got tired of trying to find a used one.

Happy Birthday to my Granny in heaven, or maybe lower  (She was mean!)

Squat challenge
3.25 minutes at 135 for 8or 9 reps. Fried from holding the bar that long…lol

BP
Bar x a bunch adjusting shit.
1x5/55
1x5/75
Then some off the pins
A whole bunch of reps and sets at 65 paused. Working and keeping everything tight and bar path. Ugh!

That’s a solid looking set up. I started mine in the Spring of 2009 and am still adding to it. There’s no rush.

Thanks! I didn’t get the floor exactly level yet. There is still work to be done. Now, I am looking for cement mixer. I would hate to mix that much concrete in a wheelbarrow…lol

“Oh, I’ll just get this one thing.” “Well now I need this of course.” and so it begins.

Since I have no idea how to make a gif…
at the one minute Chun sums it up.

It is too late for that.

Congrats!

They add so much more versatility to your workouts. Happy for you:)
