Awesome. Deadlift is my favourite too. I read somewhere recently that you’re more likely to be a better deadlifter if you have a shorter torso; your elbows line up with your belly button. I checked and my are actually a bit lower.

Short torso (long legs) means the lever (back) is shorter, so one can deadlift more; I’m the same. Long torso (short legs) means the lever (legs/femur) is shorter, so one can squat more.

And random fact: short torso with long arms makes it a lot easier to protect your face and your body (especially that easily busted “floating” rib) in a tussle; plus the long legs lets you really reach out to plant that kick in the nether regions…fun facts to know!

Well, I have never determined which category I fit in. It’s more like I was put together out of a bunch of left over pieces that don’t really fit together. Looong arms can definitely reach out and touch someone. Longish legs, longish torso. Basically a freak of nature. :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Have no idea how I screwed this up.
Anyway came off the ground with no problem, just couldn’t lock it out. Very confident if I wouldn’t have screwed up, I would have had it! Almost there! Scale said 118 this morning so almost there to double body weight!

I mowed/weedeat for 6 hours yesterday so I am certainly not beating myself up about this. Very happy!
