Which Shoe Has the Highest Heel?

Thinking about getting some weightlifting shoes now that I’m getting into the sport…

I am very unflexible and unstable so I’m thinking I need a very high heel.

Which shoes have the highest heels?

.

they are shoes not crutches.

3/4 of an inch is standard.

you can get them altered… or you can work on your ankle flexibility.

So why even bother getting weightlifting shoes? Why don’t we just lift barefoot or with flat soles?

Spare me the bullshit theories, alexus.

i actually have my shoes altered so i have about 2x standard heel raise. i’d tell you why i really wouldn’t recommend it unless you have some hardware restriction in your ankles (as i do) but i’ll spare you the bullshit theories.

a shoe repair person / cobbler should be able to shove a wooden / pvc wedge insert in to whatever height you want. something like the adistars are probably hard to adjust, though (since the sole is in two parts and not wood with a pvc type covering). but hey, what would i know.

that isn’t the issue…

the issue is why isn’t it standard to see bigger heel raise?

that was what you were wondering about, i thought.

what a fuckin waste of time gtfo
