There is so much talk on whey causing an insulin spike but exactly how much of an insulin spike does whey cause?
Can a few of you’s try this out with a glucometer.Id do the experiment myself but my clients and I dont touch pure whey.Actually I dont touch protein powder in general.
Interesting thing: If I wake up in the middle of the night and drink whey complex (6g C), i wake up feeling groggy. Not sure whether it’s the sleep interruption or the whey itself.
