What is the point of this thread? She protests Obama too.[/quote]
…just doing some Leno jaywalking to see if you kids know your news.
She is currently running for 2014 governor of California and spoke at a protest March Against Monsanto Madness (which I am in agreement with her on. they are spreading untested technology of genetic food engineering worldwide)
On Memorial Day, she came to some heartbreaking conclusions," she wrote. She came to the realization that many on the left do…“If you’re not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you’re not a conservative at forty, you have no brain.”
When she had first taken on Bush, Sheehan was a darling of the liberal left. “However, when I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode and the “left” started labeling me with the same slurs that the right used,” she wrote. (I would guess it was a little worse than what the right would call her)
But she said the most devastating conclusion she had reached “was that her son Casey did indeed die for nothing … killed by his own country which is beholden to and run by a war machine that even controls what we think.”
U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed by enemy action during the Iraq War. She said she was returning to California on Tuesday because it was Caseyâ??s birthday. He would have been 28.
