I’ve been living on the east coast for about 11 yrs now…we’ve lived in VA, FL,ME and now MD(can you tell we are military?, lol) I really loved Maine, and would love to make that our permanent home one day!

I just had this discussion with a friend the other day. I told her to throw 3 darts at a map of the US and we’ll go to the most intriguing.

I’ve always wanted to move just to experience some place different. It would be nice to temporarily break ties with people. This is tough to do living in a state where everyone you’ve ever known is no more than 45 minutes away.

If I had to pick my ideal I’d like to go to the northwest, Colorado or Utah (for the skiing), or anywhere along the Atlantic.

I couldn’t cut my ties to both the water or the mountains. It’s what I do to get away from civilization.

But I’ll ultimately move back to RI and buy a place in Narragansett within a couple of miles from the ocean.
