Yup. I first noticed that when I opened the boxes, counted up the plates and the 45 lb bar, it was 10 lbs too short. I then weighed the bar and sure enough it was 35 lbs and added up to 300 lbs for the set. It's also thinner than most bars at the gym. I really don't have a problem with it bending too much yet because I rarely put more than 320 lbs on it and always strip the weights off when I'm done.
