I know this has been posted before along time ago. However, there are newer people here so,Where are you from?

I am originally from the Clinton/Wapella Illinois area. If anyone knows where that is, we must be related(LOL).

I now live in Lake Placid Fl.

If you live/lived in or around either I would be interested in some of your stories. All others,feel free to talk about your hometowns as well.

I was born in Florida, but grew up in Maine.

I’ve spent time living in South Dakota, Massachusetts, Minnesota, and now North Dakota.

Also lived in Iceland for a few years (Ma was in the Navy).

Born in Henderson,TX…grew up in Ft.Worth, San Antonio, and Shreveport,LA(Air Force father)…back to Henderson,TX(parents divorced)…now in Killeen(Ft.Hood)TX.

But i did spend one awful year in Findlay OH as well.

Lived in Gonzales an Meteraie awhile then moved back to Chataignier.

Originally from Rock Falls, Illinois, moved to Roanoke VA, Warrenton VA, Hammond IN, now living in Oklahoma City, OK. Oh yeah, Baghdad Iraq is in there too, for a year.

Although I’ve lived and worked in many countries around the world I’ve finally ended up settled (if that’s what you can call it!) about 20 miles from where I was born.
