When to Use Fat Gripz?

Hey Paul,

I am training for Judo, and I have considered including Fat Gripz to increase strength in my forearms and hands. Are there any exercises for which the use of Fat Gripz is generally contraindicated? For some reason, I remember Poliquin saying not to use them on certain exercises, yet he seemed to encourage their use most of the time in other articles. Please let me know what you think if you have time. I really appreciate all the incredible information and aid you provide us.

Charles really liked them for curling movements and for back movements like chins. I tend to agree with that more or less. But you can use them for everything and what you’ll find is that going back to a normal sized bar does make the weights feel lighter in contrast.
