Because calcium is an antagonist to zinc absorption, and magnesium and calcium both compete against each other for absorption- when is the proper time to take each of these supplements? Which one in the morning, and which one at night? (Not a big fan of milk.)
I’ve heard that as long as you have an hour or so between you’re fine, but I figgure, why take a chance right?
I try not to eat/drink any calcium containing food at least a few hours before I take the ZMA.
The recomendation to take ZMA is at night because of the effect magnesium has to help you get a deeper sleep.
I’ve been taking it just the last 3 weeks or so and I’ve noticed more vivid dreams, and I wake up earlier feeling more rested than before.
