When to take protein and how much?

I usually skip breakfast, have a decent protein lunch (30-50 grams) and a big protein dinner (70-100 grams). I was wondering if it is okay to take protein as a breakfast thing on an empty stomach mixed with a glass of milk. Does that upset your stomach? Does it help you get bigger? I’m 5’7" and weigh 143 lbs. thanks for the help…

Of course it’s okay to protein in the morning, which I’m guessing you mean a protein powder supplement.You still need some carbs though to go with it like half a cup of oatmeal,whole wheat toast or something along those lines.If you need something faster, consider maybe using a meal replacement powder.It provides a quick breakfast with a good amount of protein, moderate carbs and a whole slew of vitamins and minerals.Also, your eating habit seems very infrequent.You should atleast be eating 5 small meals a day.But if your shedule doesn’t allow it maybe you can use protein shakes you made earlier in the day stored in a thermos or such.You can drink it between breakfast and lunch and again at between lunch and dinner.Hope this helps.

Man, where have you been?

After sleeping for eight hours or so, your body is guaranteed to be screaming for some quality nutrition, especially if you’re trying to get bigger. You can’t afford to miss breakfast, 'coz like mum says, it’s the most important meal of the day. Get some quality protein into you, whether it be in a powder, or eggs/meat/whatever, and some oatmeal for the carbs. As far as it upsetting your stomach…you’re the only one who can tell that, so try it, and if you don’t like it, try another protein source.
