When to Move on from Starting Strength?

So, I’ve been doing SS for ~6months and was wondering when I should consider moving on to another program?
My current stats are:
Squat (3x5): 250lbs
Bench (3x5): 200lbs
Deadlift (1x5): 305lbs
Overhead press (3x5): 135lbs

So should I stick with SS for another few months or move on? I wouldn’t mind focusing more on size now rather than strength, but I can be patient and wait if it’s recommended…


Definitely start doing a more comprehensive program.

So, there’s a trade-off. Starting Strength is a great program, it’ll put muscle and strength on you, but if you don’t want to do it, you won’t do it with the intensity it requires, and your progress will suffer.

If you’re seeing the gains you want to on SS, keep with it. If not, do something more specific to what your goals are.
