Hi all
Just wondering, under what conditions should I NOT use a foam roller on my body? I know it will help tight muscles, but what aches and pains? Any guidelines on when NOT to use it?

If you have broken bones; don’t roll on the broken bones.
lol, DUH!
it’s pretty great to use it all the time.
the only warning i would give would be to not keep your ass on the ground and try to put your shoulders on the ground over it…that might hurt your lower back.
oh; and if your on fire…b/c foam is flammable.

Don’t do extended work on the hip - front or side. That area is so littered with veins that your almost certain to hurt yourself.
A minimal approach to the flexors is key.

Rolling on veins are bad? DO explain? I am recovering from the flu and my knees hurt bad. I am wondering if rolling will help or worsen the situation?
I had a really funny picture of Jesus giving you the finger here, but I guess the mods thought it was a little to inflammatory.
Anyway, screw you.
