How the hell does not working out cause you to think about killing yourself? That seems a little extreme. Get that checked out, imo.
And anyway, when I don’t work out, I feel like I’ve let myself down tremendously. The only times I don’t feel bad about not working out are when I predesignate the week as a rest/recovery week. Oh man, I love those, just not as much as getting jacked.

Actually not working out can make me aggressive and irritated, too.
There might be something under it.
I think there is. I get like that if I don’t workout… I actually get too antsy. I haven’t taken a week off from lifting in years, just because I can’t.

And what is up with all this pussy shit about letting your emotions direct you around here recently? You’re MEN, dammit! Act like it, clitscabs!
Everyone’s been sorta negating the whole “T” in the site’s name, eh? I’m a big fan of logic, so I don’t have much to worry about. I do enjoy testosterone and its wonderful effects, though.

I haven’t been lifting for years yet, but I’m the same way. I tell my self I need a break first, then I sya I’ll do some light stuff, then I end up trying to hit a new max.
Working out causes positive changes in brain chemistry that is beneficial to mood and or concentration. Moderate aerobics has shown to be effective in treating mild/moderate depression.
So working out is good for you. I the old days some 100 or so years ago, everyone worked out. It was called work, or transportation. You had to walk to get places. you had to work your ass off to eat or at your job. think farmer, blacksmith, ice man and so on.
Coal miners died in cave ins, not from stress. They busted their asses, came home, drank and did it again. Since they worked physically hard 10+ hours a day, they didn’t go to the gym. they didn’t need to. And they could sleep normally, since they were so dog ass tired.
Try hauling in hay bales all day and then stacking the bales in a barn that is over 120 degrees in late july. you won’t feel stressed. You’ll just be tired.
Its because of endorphins. When you get addicted to exercise and are used to hitting the gym almost every day, you body gets accustumed to being high. When you don’t hit the gym you are getting that feeling of guilt and low self esteem. Also probably feeling withdrawals.
