Wheat Gluten and Mycoprotein

Anyone know anything about the pros and cons of these (mainly the mycoprotein)? The only info I can find is what they are made out of, but not what the benefits or risks of eating that protein may be. I used to eat a lot of tofu until I was read about how much soy sucks, so now I don’t eat it. If anyone knows anything about these I would love to know. Thanks.

And I would also love for the posts to be on topic. I know how you guys get when you try to help out the vegetarians.
