What's Your Favourite Tool!

A screwdriver with fast-replacing bits that are magnetic. The magnetism is very helpful, especially with small screws.

Absolutely. What other tool implies that it “saws all” right in its name?

There are no Screwz-All’s or Nailz All’s. Well I used to be both in college, but that was a long time ago - and hardly a qualifier for a power tool.

AKA jigsaw? Or is this a much beefier version of the pussy jigsaw?

I like crowbars and grinders, but I like taking things apart.

I also like my bare fucking hands.

Though similar, the sawz-all is not a jigsaw.

I am truely an artist with the circular saw. How subtle a curve it does cut. It inspires me with it high pitch scream and dreaded carbon teeth.
I have a thing for belt sanders as well for some reason…

Now that is a thing of beauty.

I also have a thing for belt sanders. I use them to sharpen my axe. Even when it doesn’t need it.

I also dig jackhammers.

  1. 15 lb Sledge
  2. Plasma Cutter
  3. Sawz-all, if you need to cut it, this is the tool
  4. Pick-axe
  5. Ohm meter
  6. Duct Tape and Liquid Nails
  7. 2.5 ton floor jack and jack stands
  8. Drill Press
  9. Table Saw
  10. And one of my favorites, a wood router

Now I would just have to get a wood lathe

My grandfather was a carpenter. His father was a blacksmith from a family of blacksmiths. I tend to have a fascination with all the old hand tools. I’d love to learn some metal working some day.

A more appropriate name might be broken-blade-shooter.

I must second the almighty angle-grinder. Nothing says danger like sparks flying across the room.

Sawz all = saber saw.

  1. Swiss Army Knife
  2. Vise Grips
  3. Crescent Wrench
  4. Cordless Drill

DeWalt 18v drill…I’ll find any reason to use it.

this chop saw is my favorite tool. 120cc gas engine. ridiculous.

While I don’t own one, I think a Bobcat with a bunch of attachments would be the shit.

Forklifts are fun too.

DB

Most used tool in my collection?

Probably my bench vice. I need that thing like crops need rain.

Favorite tools?

-Michigan style ax

-Sharpened camp ax (hatchet)

-23 inch machete for clearing out palm fronds

-18’ Stihl Chainsaw

What can I say, I love clearing lumber and such.

B.

Well, if you wanna bring vehicles into it…

  1. Vermeer Stump Grinders- I’ve always wanted to attack a car with one. The SC505 is like a 50 hp. diesel circular saw on tank treads.

  2. Chain Saws- The Stihl 066 with a 38" bar is a work of art. Makes big trees go kabloom!

  3. A 16# sledge, and a cup of espresso.

4.Jackhammers- alot like going off with a machine gun in a residential area.

I’m also realy fond of oxy acetylene torches. Blasting through steel gives me goosebumps.

Besides the Chisel I mentioned…

Seeing as people started mentioning stuff like tape and glue…

That No more Nails stuff, that’s great for bodging up stuff.

Then that liquid metal, fixed anything from fuel tanks to teapots with that.

Finally, molegrips, once drove a Datsun Cherry 5 miles with a pair of mole grips clamped on the steering column as the sterring wheel literally snapped off (scary).
