What's the Hardest Height to Pull From for You?

My next comp has 500lbs from 15inch for max reps in 75seconds. I HATE 15inch pulls.

I reckon id easily get more reps if it was from the floor.

I dont mind 18 inch and can rip huge weights from 20inch. but 15inch is just a dick of height.

Your worst and best heights?

I’ve found in rack pulls 2" above the floor was my worst.

My worse is probably about at 3".

Edit: Bar 12" from the floor.

My racks has 2" increments do 3" might also be tougher. Usually if I get over 4" on a regular pull , I get the lift,

im talking about the bar height… which starts at 9inch with plates on floor.

So i assume you talking about plate distance from floor?

Yep, I just put it on the pins and pull. Haven’t done them for years though,

260/580 below knee rack pull,
280/620 mid-knee rack pull
2-3 inches seem to be worth an extra 20kg

Worst height for me is definitely the floor though - 220/495 off floor.

im going to pull a heavy single at 15inch on friday, see where I stand. its right at the start of my sticking point so im intrigues to know. pulled 3x8 with 227.5kg/500lbs last week so im thinking 300kg might be there this week? thoughts?

worst height: floor for me, lol
