In the press (overhead), what is the point of using military variation (heels togather)? ive been doing military style since i started the lift and want to know if i should swith to the regular way instead (feet shoulder width apart). thanks!
Heels-together makes it more difficult (well… noticable) to cheat.
I find that I can push more weight when my feet are under my hips instead of together. Not much more, but it feels like a marginally more-stable position.
thanks, ill just try to do feet apart from now on and make more effort to keep good form.
