Ok 1st of all I want to clarify that I am NOT one of those silly kids who have barely been training and want to hop on a cycle. I want to spend my youth making natural strength and size gains.
I was just thinking that eventually when I’m older, I want to visit the doctor for my “low T issues” and get legal, medically supervised dosages of anabolic steroids.
What would be a good age for that? 40? 50? Mid 30’s? I don’t want to wait too long and get too old because then I’ll be past my prime and lose the chance to see what my full potential is.
Otherwise, you’re taking steroids lol. And I would suggest you wait till you’re at least 25 years old because that’s when the brain has fully physically matured.
Having a number on the lower side of the scale doesn’t mean you have low T, it’s just a number. Some may feel great at a certain number some may feel like shit. It all depends on your body.

I guess another title for this thread would be the age old question “when should I start taking steroids?”.
Only I’m not trying to take them asap. I want to take them at an age where I probably will have maxed out my genetic potential and not be past my prime
^i don’t know if you’re trying to be vague, or if you understand the question you’re asking, but it doesn’t make any sense.
if you have low test levels, then that’s a medical condition that could be treated regardless of one’s age.
if you want to start using AAS, then you’re not gonna get a doc to prescribe that for you.
it’s one or the other, plain and simple.
if you want to know when it’s time to use AAS, for most guys it’s when they can no longer make gains, and have been training and using enough OTC supplements to know that they can’t go much farther. for some guys it’s when they’re 20, for some when they’re 35.

not really. I’m not too interested in ****ing myself. I’d rather **** girls
You lift at Destination Dallas right? I know you’ll have no trouble sourcing if you eventually want to go the AAS route…
There’s no reason to beat around the bush here, as others have mentioned. Dallas IS a city with plenty of docs who are willing to prescribe TRT fairly liberally, but it’s a very expensive route to take, and there are limits as to how much doctors can prescribe. You’re not likely to get more than 200mg/week prescribed, on the high end. You could save up vials over time to plan for a cycle, but in the process you’d have to manipulate a lot of blood tests. And you wouldn’t be able to accumulate enough test to run more than about 1 legit cycle in a given year. Beyond that, you’d still probably have to source A-dex, nolva, and any other ancillaries elsewhere, as not all docs are keen on those. Not to mention the fact that doctors aren’t going to prescribe d bol, tren, winstrol, etc. This would eventually be very limiting.
I believe the best time to start, if you’re set on using, is once gains really grind to a halt, and you know you’ve got diet, lifting, and lifestyle very much in check. This could be next year, it could be in 10 years. When you can honestly say to yourself that you’re tapped out. You don’t HAVE to wait this long, but for most people, this seems to be best.
If you have lofty, elite, world-record breaking goals, then starting earlier may be necessary, in order to make the best of your prime years.

Man I wish I could still lift there. I lifted at the old location. I’m in Dallas now though.
