Total Body Training by Chad Waterbury. And lots and lots and lots of food.

6’1 and 145?! Holy shit. Yes, you need to eat tons of food.

TBT will kick your ass and build new muscle. I think it is one of the most anabolic programs out there.

What is your goal? We can’t recommend a workout without knowing your goals.

How about a high volume routine, something like 20 reps of fork lifting followed by 20 reps of chewing. Do 5 sets a day of the fork/chew split for five years, repeat as needed…just messing with you…

Seriously though, without knowing anything else about your goals I’d just say find something that allows you to lift heavy and eat. Post again with what you’re trying to do and somebody will give you a more detailed suggestion. Best of luck to you!

How about one where you pick heavy things up?

The fork and chew thing is hilarious!

May I also suggest you look up Bill Starrs’ “Only the Strongest Shall Survive”? Squat, Bench and Power Clean thrice weekly @ 5X5 and varying percentages of your 5rm. And Dan Johns’ suggestion to “Work hard… simply”

PM me for more info if you want.

Try Westside for Skinny Bastards. You certainly are skinny!

Thanks for the suggestions and the funny comments thus far, lol. Okay my goal mostly is from a vanity perspective however I want to get my body in great shape, shape for basketball, improve strength, improve posture. Really just get myself as healthy and in as good of shape as possible. I’m looking to build my body in that of a top male fashion model, such as, Marcus Schenkenberg. So that should give you some info. I purchased John Berardi’s DVD and E-Book so that should take care of the nutrition aspect.

eat shit loads of food and go push a truck around the block every other day for 6 weeks, after that start deadlifting ur ass off and eat a small cow everyday

yeah… thanks…

You joined this site so you can look like Marcus Schenkenberg?

Dude, you’re not supposed to say that out loud.

In that case, I guess you don’t need to eat much more.

Speaking of models, those guys are supposed to wear a size 40 jacket. Thats why Marcus Schenkenberg has never trained his back in his life and his pecs look abnormally big in proportion to the rest of his body. You should see the lats from the front.

When I wear a suit I don’t want to look like Alfie, I would rather look like Canseco in these steroid hearings.

F’ it. I’ll just figure it out on my own.

I think Schenkenberg (sp?) put out a workout book a few years ago.
Men’s Health put out an issue a few years ago about how their models got and kept their physiques–it was pretty interesting.
You might also try boxing. Look at the picture someone put up in the over 35 section of Bernard Hopkins. He’s six foot or so, fights at 160, and doesn’t get more than 10 pounds over that. So he’s not huge but he’s lean with plenty of muscle.

Then I’d suggest Chad Waterbury’s workout for kids who don’t lift good and want to learn to do other stuff good too.
j/k

At your height and weight I’d think your best bet is concentrating on building a ‘foundation of muscle’. Once you have the mass you can concentrate on fine tuning to get the look you want.
