Due to my T dropping to 300-400, my endo agreed to let me try clomid. Trying to figure out if it’s a flop, and make a decision on what to do next. Your input is greatly appreciated. I’ve highlighted some key points too.
Tldr: clomid worked great then started getting moody, tried enclomiphene of unknown quality, helped with mood but libido still weak. Time to give up on these?

Day 1 - 25mg - felt a huge difference. Not placebo as I was convinced it’d do nothing good, and in the past I’ve been convinced that I’d found the problem elsewhere (and nothing happened). Libido up, talking dirty to my girlfriend again, confident, more energy, even music sounding lifelike again. Amazing!
Day 2 - felt great still, did not dose
Day 3 - 25mg - made a big difference but not as big as day 1
Day 4 - felt pretty good
Day 5 - 12.5mg - after reading about high dose side effects, decided to lower my dose. Took it in the AM and got really really moody. Eased up later, felt pretty good still, but not nearly as great as the past few days.
Day 6 - started declining, getting depressed. After reading about thyroid stuff and iodine, took a ton of iodine via seaweed.
Day 7 - 12.5mg - started getting emotional. Body temp upon waking is under 97. Went for a blood test. T was at 599, E2 at 28 (barely elevated). No more libido or confidence boost really.
-STOPPED CLOMID, STARTED enclomiphene- (from internet website, no lab test available upon asking)
Day 8 - 25mg endo - emotional sides start reversing, feeling great again! Got some weird head rush. This is it! Hours later, feels like it wore off. Weird. Also took cialis this day, and PDE5 inhibitors always raise my libido as well.
Day 9 - 25mg endo - less of a rush, libido high, wore off again later. Noticing I feel really tired and spacey when it wears off. Also sleeping more. Body temp over 97 again.
Day 10-12 - alternating 12.5mg/25mg endo - benefits diminshing. **Music not sounding good anymore, starting to get depressed again. ** Got drunk one night.
Day 13 - 25mg endo - barely getting out of bed now (like before clomid) but felt slightly better after 25mg endo. Went to visit gf, barely getting it up. Low libido. Tried taking cialis, barely did anything (very abnormal). Getting some morning wood, but definitely not working 100% down there.
Day 14 - did not take anything, barely getting out of bed, even worse. Music sounds super uninspiring. Pretty depressed again. Able to get it up, but only briefly, girlfriend asking why I don’t want to fuck her. Confidence definitely back down to where it was pre-clomid (being needy waiting for girl to text me, snappy with friends, acting like a retired old man, not caring about my business).
My best guess is that I had an average clomid experience, where the benefits quickly wear off, even though my E2 was not that high. Wondering if it was the iodine rather than the clomid.
Also thinking the endo is either not endo, or is super weak. I’ve also heard endo failed tests as it caused libido issues (thought to be related to SBGH I’ve read). I’ve never been so disinterested in sex as I am now, it’s weird. Or could it be residual from the alcohol? I’m prone to 2-3 day hangovers.
What do you guys think? Is it worth trying clomid again or is this pretty standard? If it made me feel that good, should I consider TRT instead now? I’ve talked to Defy already, and I do qualify.
