Basically what should i eat before bed to ensure that my body says anabolic for as long as possible, but avoid putting on a lot of unnesesary fat. Some type of milk product maybe?
I guess that casein whey is the slower burning one or whatnot, so that's an idea. Maybe with warm milk?
yeah good thinking, why warm milk though?would a protein shake in milk be a good idea? or maybe a yogurt?

You're not going to go catabolic and start destroying muscle just by going to sleep. As long as you're eating enough protein throughout the day, you'll be fine.
