When you guys are forced to take time off (vacations, extended holdays, etc.) and you aren’t anywhere near a gym; what do you do? I’ve been making steady progress for about a month now on starting strength and don’t want to lose any strength. Should I still try to get my calorie surplus even though the only “lifting” will be body weight excersises?
Yes rest recover and eat, youll come back stronger and refreshed as long as the break is’nt over a few weeks.
Relax and eat, but if you aren’t doing a lot of walking on vacation cut back on carbs and fats that you won’t burn off.
