What to Do with a Sore Wrist?


I have been trying to figure out a new workout recently,

I have moved to a 4 set 8-12 reps workout

Squats 155lbs 4 sets 8 reps

Bench 50lbs DB 4 sets 8 reps

Inverted rows 4 sets till fail

Arnold press 40lbs DB 4 sets 8 reps

Situps 4 x 10 5 kilo ball

I want to get back into Deadlifts but my wrist is buggered I cannot pull any weight I can barley get the Bench done without it hurting…and the inverted rows were pretty rough too

Anyway what I am trying to figure out is what can i do to keep up on my routine but not injure my wrist more …

What about taping? or straps? or is there anything i can do that replicate deads w/o using both arms?


I had a wrist problem once I started training with a recreational bodybuilder. It cured over time since using heavier weights. You’re not pushing a lot of weight yet and you have a lot of progress a head of you. I would say it will get better over time.

Try single leg dead lifts with a single dumbbell, or even dead with both feet on the ground however with one dumbbell.
