So I have a PL competition coming up mid Nov. I’m in the middle of a Russian Squat cycle. (I’m also benching using this method.) I do deadlift variations on the x2 days. Tonite by the way is the 6x6 for me. 340 lbs. on the squat. Looking to hit 440-450 come meet time.
Anyway, my question is, the next meet probably won’t be until spring. I know I should take a week and recover from the Russian cycle, but what to do next. Should I take some time and just do some Powerbuilding training?
I don’t want to lose the gains I made. I expect some of you guys have competed and I’m interested in hearing what worked for you after grueling cycle to keep moving forward.
