Skinfold calipers. Read Jason’s articles, “Body Composition for Beginners” (parts 1 and 2) for more info.

Tanita TBF-551 as outlined in my article (measure each morning and use a weekly average to track changes). Also, 3 site skinfold equation on occasion and I’ll usually grab an SI skinfold measure along with the ab,chest and thigh.
