What Is 'PCT?'

I have been researching testosterone boosting supplements and keep coming across the term PCT but i can’t find an explanation of what this is. Can anyone enlighten me?

Post Cycle Therapy. Lots of info in the steroids forum.

When you supplement with exogenous testosterone your body shuts down its own production. Once you stop the influx of this exogenous testosterone you need to signal your body to start producing its own once again, via the HPTA. This is commonly referred to as PCT, or post cycle therapy.

A typical PCT protocol uses the drug Nolvadex and looks like this: 40 mgs a day for the first 2 weeks, then 20 mgs a day for the next 2 weeks, and you’re good to go. It can get more complicated, but that’s the groundwork.

Lots more info on this in the steroid forum. If you are looking for just a test booster such as Alpha Male or tribulus, you don’t need it. However, if you are planning on using a pro hormone, designer steroid, or steroids themselves, it is a must.
