What if you Died Tomorrow?

Just encrypt the drive, no way to beat that except for guessing / bruteforcing your password.

That’s a great idea, except she’ll assume it is something worse.

Nothing quite like telling your girl about the porn, and finding out that she has an even bigger collection.

I’m pretty sure the world has come to terms with the fact that guys (and girls) watch porn. There wouldn’t be much of a reaction - you didn’t see each other often, and you needed something. Unless it’s something like “robot vampire nurse meets carnivorous tentacles from Mars”. Because then they’ll blame your death on the porn.

Option C. Better to look sleazy when dead, than be bored while alive.

gotta agree with option D.

Someone I know, let’s call him Bob, has an external hard-drive with a good amount of porn on it. His wife doesn’t know he has it (sheltered girl doesn’t think he occasionally watches porn when she’s gone), but she would not be too happy to find it.

Their relationship is great, great sex when it happens, but right now they are very busy with work and school. Sometimes their schedules conflict so they can go weeks with only seeing each other in passing, or in bed. Bob watches it to stay sane (I know, preaching to the choir).

Bob is worried that if he died tomorrow, eventually the porn would be found when his possessions are sorted out and wonders what the reactions would be.

Would you:

A) Erase the high quality collection that was collected over the years, and comes in handy to serve a mans needs.

B) Tell her about it, hoping she doesn’t freak that it adds up to GB’s of porn (she’ll probably freak a bit).

C) Keep it from her to protect her feelings, but risk looking like a sleaze to her or your family members if you died tomorrow?

D) Fill in the blank_________________________________.

Yes, I’m Bob.
Personally, I think it’s pretty sad that you feel that you have to hide this from your wife. Is there other things that you keep from her? If not, what’s the worst that could happen if you did tell her?

Hungry knows what he’s talking about. He’s not ashamed to share his panda porn with the whole world.

This is true.

Panda/animal porn is a wonderful thing and it should be celebrated.

Agreed. I’ve seen beautiful things done with Alpacas.

my cuz showed me a pic of a woman and a dog when I was 13…scarred for life! so no hungry I believe animal porn should not be celebrated

anyway back on topic, I think option D (get a mate to take your stash when you die) would be the best solution

Isn’t thinkin aboiut this a little pesimistic though?

Do you have a boy? If so, maybe tell her that you’re creating a time capsule of porn for his 18th birthday. I mean who knows if the raunchy stuff will still be around…

I thought the whole purpose behind internet porn was it’s availibility. What’re you doing cacheing it? I’m with the streaming votes. I had a former colleague at work who got busted by his fiance for his Marcia Brady fetish, but that was just a mean-spirited yuck fest for those of us who knew her.

Google Chrome + Incognito Mode

D. Setup a device that if it isn’t called every 48 hours from a certain phone is puts a highly powerful magnet onto the harddrive effectively erasing anything.

if she isn’t very tech savvy she will think the harddrive hasen’t been formatted yet, which is exactly what windows will tell you

I would never marry the woman surprised that I watch porn.

If after I die, people were to discover that I am an animal f*cking transvestite with a feather and tar fetish, I won’t care; I’ll be dead.

I mean seriously, you’re worried what your girl thinks of your porn collection, post mortem? Wow.

BBB
Yeah, I think this pretty much sums it up.

It does make me curious as to how much, and what kind of porn it is…

I hope the OP is more concerned that his family is taken care of, than his porn collection.

I have a “porn-buddy” His job, should I become seriously ill or die, is to go to my house and remove all my nasty porn, so as to avoid further deaths in my family that day.

Roll with it man - I would think every sane woman would expect us guys to have some stash although IF we are talking close to 1 TB stored away you might have a problem…

Interesting scenario to ponder
