What Have You Achieved in the Past 10 Months?

my two profile pics are aprox. ten months apart. in my avatar i’m around 195lbs currently i’m between 215-220lbs.

my numbers have gone up. i keep trucking along.

I dropped 60 lbs in a period of 3 months and got down to 8% BF although I lost more muscle than I wanted, then put on about 30 lbs in the past 8 weeks without even adding an inch to my waist. My lifts are nowhere where they used to be because I herniated a disk, but I am recovering quickly. I had to stop deadlifting and squatting for 6 months, and I couldn’t lift at all for 1 month due to a herniated disk back in Feb. I attribute my muscle loss during the cutting period to this issue or not being able to do certain lifts or lift at all. When I tried deadlifting again in September, I could only do 405 for 3. Last time I tried deadlifting, I did 460 for 9. My goal is to get back up to a 700-lb deadlift. Other lifts are improving as well although none are what they used to be.

Gained nearly 20 lbs. But I’m constantly battling injuries. Tendonitis took me out for 8 solid months last year. Now I have a knee and elbow issue I’m working around. I’m not as strong as in my youth, but I’m smarter about training now, and progress is steady.

Haha, did 475 for 9 today on deadlift. 700 lb deadlift, here I come (again).

Great thread going… I will try and keep it short

Haven’t posted in a while but since finding T-Nation I went from 285 lbs to 195 lbs.
In 2009 however I have gone from 195 lbs to 205 lbs and just recently tried my max bench for the first time and hit 225 lbs! not great but I am glad I tried! Also for the first time in 5 years of lifting I have a training partner. I hit a BIG plateau training by myself for a long time, now that I don’t have to worry about dropping the bar on my neck I can really push myself.

My log only goes back to February.

Weighed around 85 kgs then, around 98 now so up 13 kgs.

Front Squat: 66x6 kg to 110x5
Squat:80x12 to 132x7
Chins : 5 to 8
Barbell Row: 50x12 to 80x15
Decline CGBP 82x6 to 122x7

At 5 ft 8 in (173 cm), I’ve gone from 117 lbs (53 kg) to 141 lbs (64 kg), most of it muscle.

I’ve also turned 20, yay!

Some phenomenal results here! Keep it up! Here are my modest accomplishments

Achievements in 6 months:

  • Gained additional lean BW > 8kg (17.6lbs) @ BF 11%
  • Deadlift 135kg(297lbs) x 1 > 175kg(385lbs) x 1
  • Bench 80kg(176lbs) x 5 > 95kg(209lbs) x 5
  • Squat 100kg(220lbs) x 5 > 130kg(286lbs) x 5
  • OHP 50kg(110lbs) x 5 > 60kg(132lbs) x 5

Goals for next 6 months:

  • DL 200kg (440lbs)
  • Bench 110kg (242lbs)
  • Squat 175kg (385lbs)

I FINALLY found a gym where you get your membership for 36 euros per month, with dumbbells going up to 180 pounds, 4 kinds of hammer strength-ish machines (presses and rows), 3 squat racks and 2 leg presses (even a curl rack), a “reverse hyper” clone, the works…and where no one minds you dropping heavy weights on the floor, free parking, steam saunas etc etc etc. In France. I rule.

A year ago, i was at around 85-86kg bodyweight, i am now at 97-98kg bodyweight. My arms have increased from 15inches to 16.5inches. Calves also up in the same range. waist is up an inch at most, definitely a bit fatter but not much.

I have dropped 40 lbs, from 207 to 167.
Body fat from 26% to 10%
Lost 7 inches from my waist.
Increased bench from 180x2 to 270x4 and squat from 200x8 to 310x12

Much better diet and training program produced good results so far.

Looking to put on more lean mass and strength over the next year.

Started competing in powerlifting and totaled 515kg @ 83.5kg total. The deadlift’s gone from 155kg to about 250kg, squat from 130kg to 180kg, and bench from 95kg to 125kg.

Just moved to Korea, had my first max-workout session in the gym, and went to failure on my squats to test their rack (3 positions for bottom pins), and ended with my head between my knees, but didn’t hyperextend anything, so going to keep at it!

gained 10 lbs and put 110 lbs on my bench

Hey guys, first post here; absolutely love the site, I’ve been craving “no bullshit” articles on fitness and glad I’ve found them! Over the last three months I’ve:

Gone from struggling to stay at 148lb. to a steady 160lb.
Leaned to aprox. 8-9% body fat.
Increased my deadlift from 260 to 360x3.
Increased max DB chest press from 70lb. to 90lb.
All other lifts have increased as well.

Overall, I’m really excited about the progress so far and know it will only continue to get better!

Put on about ~7 lbs.

60lbs on my bench, 70 on my deadlift, haven’t maxed squat in a while.

Hit some Strongman PRs throughout the year, but I can’t recall them all at the moment.

BW from 170lbs to 205lbs @ 5’8 with still an acceptable bodyfat.

Since February of this year, lost 60lbs, down to 13% body fat from 23%, added 30lbs to my bench press, 60 to DL and Squats. And I can do pull ups now… which sucks, and doesn’t… all at the same time.
