What Happened to Weeds and Entourage?

I still like Weeds and Entourage and they are only shows with new episodes on that I will try to watch regularly (I agree with Iron Dwarf - Hung is pretty good). I’m not a fan of True Blood, I just can’t seem to get into it (same with Mad Men and Breaking Bad). I still miss the Sopranos though.

Watch True Blood just for this quote.

Jason says to Andy,

" I work out like a motherfucker, and I watch a lot of porn…to learn stuff"

Some other good shows on cable right now that no one has mentioned:

Sons Of Anarchy
Rescue Me
Mad Men
Breaking Bad

I dig vampire stories and movies, but True Blood is pretty lame. I couldn’t even finish Season 2 Episode 1 the other night, I gave up. It really boils down to being a soap opera, who’s nailing who, high school level show.

As far as I’m concerned, the best vampire movies ever were Lost Boys, and Blade. Blade flat out rocks.

Dexter is a very solid show, I highly recommend it.

Entourage has gone downhill. It’s impossible to maintain just how funny and fresh the show was 5 years ago.

Lost Boys yes, but Blade never appealed to me.

I said that to my friend who wanted me to watch it since his cable was out. I said isn’t it just like a soap opera for vampires?
Happened to be a real shitty episode. mid way through he goes ‘yea…i guess you’re right’ lol

You know, jfitness, I have been accused of being too cynical, especially with things I do not like, you gave much the same reaction as many others have, which I kind of think is funny, too a point. I don’t wanted to be the wet balnket but will give my honest opinion when asked.

As for Entourage I understand it’s a comedy but it just doesn’t do it anymore, sorry. The humor got lame then lamer and right now I feel as if the jokes are forced and redundant.I am surprised they have not done an Ari spin-off. I would be the last one to watch it but people seem to love that character and you could go through the whole day with his crazy antics and I’d bet it be a big draw for the people who watch Entourage, you gotta admit the HBO management has probably atleast had the idea.

As for Twilight and True Blood, I hope people do not think I am tv show critic and just I gave my very biased opinion, that is right biased not mispelled. Let me stop you right now and write what you were going to write, “We all know you aren’t a TV critic.”

My main problem is with HBO is you get shows like the Wire and Sopranos that are able to last a long time that are consistently good. Then they come out with, what I consider over hyped garbage. I gave Entourage a chance and people still say, “Oh my God, I cannot believe you do not like that show.” Though X you have persuaded me to give True Blood a shot, (thanks Verizon for On Demand so I can catch up.) No super high expectations just something to watch.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned ‘Eastbound and Down’. It aired on HBO for 6 episodes last spring and was renewed for another, and hopefully longer season. Look it up, folks.

Here’s the opening scene:

Even though Vince is the doucheiest character, the show revolves around his career. And at the moment, it is stable, so there is no drama.
E’s girlfriend is a fuckin twig, god damn. But Sloane, ooooooh yeah, that’s nice.

Now, you can’t call E’s girl a twig and not think Sloan is a twig too. she’s hot and she has a nice rack.
they are both attractive, but Sloan is on another level
