I was wondering…since now we have discovered how 100-rep sets can be used for hypertrophy without other exercises to assist, as some other sites and trainers may use them, what happened to timed sets? I liked Superman Sets by CT, but nobody seems to remember what they are. Did they bombed? Didnd’t they work? Why?
Timed? You mean like a set lasting x amount of time, containing y number of reps, and the goal being to increase reps in the alloted period of time?
If so, it’s still a valid training method. It’s just not being written about right now.
I’m sure you could find it in the archives, or wait for its revival.
