An older friend of mine at the gym was talking to me about how he had a herniated disc from deadlifting and the whole sciatic pain too. Mine is like 80% gone I’m actually back squatting again ( lost a few pounds on it but that will go up soon ) but still no deadlifts.
He said he got prescribed a 6 day dose of Medrol and by the third day he had no sciatic pain at all and was deadlifting about 2 weeks later. Anyone have an experience with it? Not sure if I need it at all since I’m almost recovered but damn do I miss deadlifts, never thought I would say that
