What Does USP Mean on a Bottle?

Hi gentle men!
I wondering one thing!
somone knows what does mean the mention USP on bottle of many brands of human grade hormaone or homebrew labs?

You know like on GTP is script, or on IP vials…

But i never know what it mean?

Some of you?

United States Pharmacopeia. Think of it as quality control. Much like saying X beef is USDA approved.

Not to be confused with Universal Serial Port, Utah State Prison, or Un-starched pants.
