What Do You Mean by 'Body English?'

In relation to fitness, what is “body English?”

For example, observe the following:
Chris Colucci wrote: The cheat hammer curl is the closest to a power clean we can get with dumbbells. Pretty much like it sounds, use some controlled body english to get the weight up.
(From this thread: http://tnation.tmuscle.com/free_online_forum/sports_body_training_performance_bodybuilding_beginner/starting_strength_with_dumbells )

Thank you!

“Body English” is moving other bits of your body as well as the target muscles.

So like with heavy bent over rows you might use a bit of leg drive - body English - to take your arms out of it.

Basically it just means body movement, as opposed to strict form.

.Excess movement, like using your back to cheat the weight up in this case

using your whole body to get the weight up not just the targeted muscle group. Like a kicking or “Kipping” on a pull up. Or swinging your upper body back while doing a curl to swing the weight up there… something like that. that would be body english
