This. Although I wonder where you were buying your water in EU, although Perrier and San Pellegrino is generally more expensive, the 1.5 litre bottles of sparkling water here start at about 30 Euro cents (so 40 US cents) and the more “expensive” varieties like Gerolsteiner or Appolinaris go for about 60-75 cents.
We’ve also got a water machine at work with a built-in CO2 injector, that’s fantastic!
