What Did I Damage?

Hey all. I was doing deadlifts this morning, and on my heavy set I felt a little pop under my left ribcage. The pain feels muscular, albeit somewhat sharp. Do the obliques attach under the ribcage? If so, I’ve probably pulled or torn something at the attach point.

Has anyone else had something like this happen? Its painful when I take a deep breath, stretch my right arm over my head, or twist my torso to the right.

i had similar thing happen when i ignored a lower back inflammation for a few weeks. the inflammation spread to the rib cage and the result was what you describe.

i was lucky enough to take some NSAID’s and it passed in a few weeks.

go see a doctor… the faster the better.
