What Color Shirt with Dark Dark Blue Suit

Going to a day of the dead party tonight so sticking with a dark theme. What color shirt and tie goes with a dark navy (almost black) suit? Black shoes and belt as well.

Thanks,
Mac

Lilac is a good shout mate.

Black?

White shirt and black tie.

Is this a trick question?

Or maybe it’s one of those joke threads that someone starts in response to some other weird thread that’s getting a lot of attention but I’m not aware of that first thread.

Yeah…what the fuck is wrong with someone that they’d ask for fashion advice on a site like this?

If it is formal or anything remotely close, this.

If you’re going for “different” and it isn’t formal, pretty much anything that isn’t a “spring” color.

God I’m fucking ghey

Solid Navy or something with a stripe?
Notched or peak lapels?
1, 2, or 3 button?
Center vent, side vents, or ventless?
Pants flat-front or pleated?
Pants have cuffs?

…just trying to get a feel for the suit.

Are you thin, fat, or athletic?

As far as the look goes…you are trying to essentially put something together that you would wear to a funeral…with the dark suit…day of the dead theme? Is that the idea?

Aye. God knows what the fashion sense on some cunts here is like.

Oooo! Ooooo! Has anyone said Tuxedo Shirt yet ?!?!?

You should read “American Psycho” by Bret Easton Ellis. It will answer all of your questions.

The navy suits above were both two buttons…here is a three button…you can imagine what a one button looks like.

Not to insult your sartorial prowess, but while we’re on the subject of buttons, you never button the bottom button.
