What Can I Do About Wrist Pain During Presses?

On presses both wrists hurt on the back of wrist. Not lifting a ton either. Any suggestions please

Have you tried wrapping your wrists?

Google “bucket of sand exercises”. Open and close your hand in the sand and really squeeze/extend with force. Do that a few times a week. It will help your wrists.

Swapping to a neutral grip on Press can help with relief and a also wrapping your wrist with something strong and pliable does wonders.

Sounds like you’re pressing with wrist extension (bent wrists) which can cause pain when going heavier as it used to do for me. Strengthen your grip so your wrists don’t extend and to keep your wrists neutral. Worked wonders for me.
