So I got upset about stupidness today if I type it maybe I will feel less upset
I filmed my squats and then wanted feedback in my hip thread so I uploaded it and it took forever and I wanted to carry on with my workout but I was trying to be patient and was peeing forever etc

but then I couldn’t handle waiting another second because I was getting mad at myself for not getting my butt in gear.
So I went to set up for hip thrusts and I forgot my hip circle and then I felt like crying at the thought of going back to my locker to go get it so I did them without it
then I realized I forgot to do leg spreader before my hip thrusts but I was all set up for my super set so I did it anyway
so I feel like hip thrusts didn’t count because I didn’t use my hip circle and it made them not feel as effective

i couldn’t calm down the rest of the workout i literally did all my shit in like 10 minutes because having a panic attack makes me look like The Flash so W/E
.
I also feel upset because i have too much fat on my arms still and i am not having a cheat meal because i want it to go away
My cheat meal would make me upset and also not having my cheat meal makes me upset so im not sure.
Honestly just think its cortisol from being nervous about my 185 squats / i don’t do that weight very often and my brain doesn’t process adrenaline properly it’s like OH MY GOD JENN I THINK WE ARE DYING um no we are just squatting heavy

Squats look better. You’re breathing into your belly more, and your shoulders aren’t doing that funny shrug when you inhale so you’re getting a ton tighter. Makes a world of difference to the rest.

This is no coincidence. Better bracing equals better everything. It can be a prick to get, but once you get it it’s worth the effort.

I still don’t feel fully there yet by any means but I do core activation before every workout and sometimes later in the day too. A lot more than 3 times a week anyway haha. I can already do the progression on my physio ab stuff so I definitely think it can continue to improve a great deal .

Ok some great training shit squatted 6s and worked up to 170 x 6. I was doing 170 x 9 with a belt when I was fat so I’ll take this over that :blush:
