What are Your Goals

6’2 170 lbs.

bench 185
squat 225
deadlift 405

I want to do a competition around the start of 2011, and I would like to weigh at least 185 for it.

im setting modest goals for myself:

squat: 405 (or 385 now that i lost 30 lbs) → 445
bench: 275 → 315
deadlift: 545 → 600

Well i guess i need to rephrase my question to, how much wweight do i need to be throwing around on these lifts in order to be competitive.

I’m a 181.

Current PRs:

407 sq (missed 419 on depth)
232 b
365 dl (missed 369 on dipping)

Goals:

170 lbs, maintain the above and/or stop fucking up my shirted bench.

a 145kg bench and a 220 deadlift by the end of this year

My long term goal is simply to be able to compete within the next few years. Can’t bench because of an injury at the moment but that’s slowly getting better so I’ll just keep at it and see what happens for now.

If I’m still stuck with this shit by the time I’m 35 I’ll just say fuck it and compete anyway.

Goals for this year:

Deadlift 270kg
Squat 200kg

Preferably at 90kg bodyweight but as long as it’s below 100kg I’ll be satisfied.

My goal is to total 1300 Raw at my first USAPL meet in November in the 181 weight class. I’m sitting at 177 right now so I can stand to add a bit more size back on.

My goal is to go floor press with 350 bar weight & 25# of chains for 5 reps for at least 3 hopefully 5 reps here in a few min.

EDIT: Ok so I wasn’t feeling the chains tonight but I got 355 straight weight for 3. Not bad

First post ever here…goals are for coming back after fracturing a bunch of vertebra jumping out of planes…acted like a pussy for 4 years and have been lifting again for the last 6 months.

I promised firebug9 I’d move back to 165s.

Pulling 675 would make me feel good about my senior year and be a solid kick in the dick to every setback I have ever had
