I want to start the westside for skinny bastards this sun. My problem is with the upper body max effort lift. Because I messed up myshoulders I cant any barbell benching. Is it alright if I work up to 3 rep max with db? Then what do I do about the supplemental lift? Also, are we supposed to keep record and try to go up in weight in each session? If so, is it for every exercise, even the supplemental and what happens if we dont make weight? change exercise?
What exactly did you do to your shoulder? Did your doctor tell you not to bench? Can you incline or decline press with the bar?
