Westside for Skinny Bastards + 10x3

I like the look of Westside for Skinny Bastards, but instead of working up to a max effort lift would it be ok to do 10x3 instead?

I can’t see any reasons not to, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. I’m wary of making alterations to a program so I thought I’d check here first.

When i first did this program, i used a 5x3 method because i had no idea how to do the work up. this worked great for me so i would assume that the 10x3 would work well too.

The point of the max effort lift is just that… max effort! Your goal is to hit new PR’s and bild maximal strength. There are plenty of other exercises in the program that add volume.

MAYBE if your a total newbie (then again if your so new to lifting that your not comfotable working up to a max then this isnt the program for you) and sticking with idea of legs once a week and you used it on leg day, but I still wouldnt stray from what is proven to work very effectivly.
