Wendler's Beach Body Challenge

So I’m going to take a break from Wendler’s classic 531 and since I’m going to the beach later this year, I figured I’d do his beach body challenge. The only problem is I’m trying to recover from shoulder bursitis.

The Press and the pull-ups will probably have to be substituted. I guess I’m looking for proper substitutes.

I think I can bench press instead of OH press and not aggravate my shoulder, but lifting my arms over my head is definitely out.

You can use incline press and chest-supported rows as alternatives. It’s in one of his books as a substitute for bigger guys, but it’s also just lower impact on the shoulders.
