OK Wendler 531. Do you start on 5 or on one, i watched a couple youtube videos and they start on the 1 rep max so they are fresh for max attemps, but the general advice i got from gym people is start on the 5. dafuq do you do??

If you have a reasonable idea of your maxes I would have thought you should start on 5. There is no point having your second week as a deload. I’m no expert though.
