Its multiples of 9. Look at 9, 18. 27. 36, etc…They are all the same symbol.

Its kinda fun the first time though.

It is a math game. Every number you end up with will be a multiple of nine. So they just put the same symbol with the multiples of nine and then change the symbols each time you play.

Hope that makes sense.

The end result of the equation (the sum of the two numbers taken away from the original) is always a mulitple of 9. So all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol each time you start a new round.

Ok. I figured out the number Nine association, but didn’t notice that they kept changing the symbols each time. Durrr…
