For Christmas this year I was given a pretty nice set of wrist (1.5 lbs) and ankle (3 lbs) weights. The wrist ones are handy as they have a thumb loop so that they don’t bounce around. I’ve tried running with the wrist ones, hurts (good) the mid/upper back, but that’s about the only thing I’ve thought of to do with them. I also thought maybe I could throw them on an oly bar to increase the weight incrementally since my gym has about 3 2.5 plates and maybe 7 5’s…yeah, it’s great. Any one have any ideas on how I could use these things, or are they gonna be relegated to a closet until I save up for an Xvest (after which I can strap 'em on and go kill myself on the trails…)?
